LUCKY residents in one town have been left stunned after learning they will share a £3.2million lottery prize.
Hundreds of locals in Chelmsford, Essex, are celebrating after their area was selected in the People’s Postcode Lottery.

Those with postcodes beginning CM17 can expect to win at least £1,000 each if they subscribe to the lottery.
And a handful will net a sizeable windfall from the popular lotto.
However, which residents will end up with most of the cash will only be revealed later this week.
The full winning postcode will be released on Saturday at a special event at Riverside Leisure Centre.
People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt will be at the event on Saturday to present winners with the good news in person.
She said: “I can’t wait to meet hundreds of our winners on Saturday and present them with a prize cheque of their own.
“The community will be buzzing with excitement right now and I can’t wait to celebrate with them.”
The lottery costs £12 a month and guarantees winners every day, with all players automatically entered into draws.
A minimum of 33% of each ticket sale goes to charity too.
It’s not the first time Chelmsford residents have scooped a big prize on the Postcode Lottery.
One lucky winner won £30,000 in August 2020 after his mum nagged him to sign up.
Sufyaan Baileche, 29, bagged the jackpot as part of the People’s Postcode Lottery in 2020.
Sufyaan, from Chelmsford, Essex, had only signed up to the subscription-based competition at the urging of his mother two months earlier.
At the time he said: “My mum has been doing it for years and has had a few small wins.
“As soon as I moved out, she said I should sign up with my own postcode.
“I think she will be really pleased for me, but I know she will be jealous.
“She’ll be like, ‘You jammy git, you’ve done it for two months and look how much you’ve won!”
He added that his plan was to take his mum on a dream holiday to the USA.
It comes after a lotto winner who scooped a massive EuroMillions prize revealed she celebrated with a £700 shopping spree.
Meanwhile, a couple who won £200k on the People’s Postcode Lottery have said they are going to spend it on Prime drinks for their daughter.
