ONE lucky Brit has claimed an amazing £185k EuroMillions lottery jackpot more than a MONTH after buying the ticket.

But two weeks after the numbers were called, nobody had come forward – with players being urged to check their tickets.
National Lottery said they were “desperate” to find the winner after the draw on September 15.
The winning EuroMillions numbers on that date were 12, 14, 21, 45, 48 and the Lucky Star numbers were 8 and 11.
And now the player, who is £185,147.10 richer, has claimed their prize.
Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at The National Lottery, said, “What wonderful news for this lucky ticket-holder who has claimed their amazing prize.
“We will now focus on supporting the ticket-holder through the process and on helping them to begin their life-changing journey.
“Players can buy and check their tickets online by downloading the National Lottery app or at national-lottery.co.uk.
“Players can also buy and check tickets in retail. Playing online via the app or website means that your ticket is checked, and you get an email notification if you win a prize.
“You can also scan your retail tickets on the National Lottery app to check if you’re a winner.”
The ticket now has to be validated before it can be paid.
With all National Lottery draws, players have 180 days from the day of the draw to claim their prize if they have the winning ticket.
It comes after another fortunate winner bagged a whopping £3.9m.
