24-year old Kai was at the centre of the drama as the singletons coupled up for the first time, but many viewers were distracted by his resemblance to the Hampden hero.

Kai, from Manchester, coupled up with glamorous Tanyel as the new winter series of the ITV hit programme got underway in South Africa.
And hundreds of fans were talking about him in the aftermath – but it wasn’t all about his coupling-up!
Dozens of footie fans were convinced that Kai looks like Aston Villa and Scotland ace John McGinn.
And they took to Twitter to say just that.
One said: “I can’t explain it, but Kai from Love Island looks like John McGinn.”
Posting a picture of Kai and McGinn side by side, another added: “Can’t not see John McGinn in Kai. Uncanny.”
A third said: “This Kai guy got a shade of John McGinn.”
Yet another fan posted: “Why does Kai give me John McGinn vibes?”
Another responded: “Bro, I couldn’t figure out who he looks like but it’s exactly John McGinn.”
Focusing on their hairstyles, a fan added: “Kai got the same trim as John McGinn.”
Other fans reckon Kai looks more like previous contestant Adam Collard.
One joked: “If Adam Collard and John McGinn had a love child… it would be Kai.”
As Kai stars on Love Island, McGinn finds himself out of action with injury.
The Villa captain suffered a hamstring problem against Tottenham on New Year’s Day and hasn’t been seen since.
Admitting he’s “bored” on the sidelines, the Scotland fans’ favourite gave an update on his return.
He told Sky Sports: “It’s the first time I’ve done my hamstring, at 28 which I’m not getting used to.
“But it feels alright, hopefully in a few weeks I’ll be back.”
