HAVE you ever found a picture-perfect holiday photo on Instagram, but don’t know where it was taken?
It can be frustrating trying to find exactly where a holiday snap was taken, but a little-known feature on the easyJet app might just be the answer you’re looking for.

The Look&Book feature was introduced on the easyJet: Travel App in 2018.
According to the easyJet website, the Look&Book feature helps holidaymakers to find out where an Instagram photo was taken.
It also works out which easyJet flights passengers will need to book to get to that destination.
A statement on the easyJet website read: “Simply take a screenshot of a European destination you like the look of and upload it to Look&Book in our app.”
To make use of the feature, holidaymakers will need to download the easyJet: Travel App from the relevant app store.
After the app has been downloaded, users can then scroll through Instagram, and other social media platforms, for holiday inspiration.
As you scroll on Instagram, make sure to take a screenshot of any cityscapes, landscapes, or general holiday spots that take your fancy.
While most users on social media tag their locations, some people tend to tease the whereabouts of a particularly dreamy spot.
If you find this happening to you, take a screenshot of the social media post and share the screengrab with the easyJet app.
A notification will then appear on your phone, which will take you through to the Look&Book feature on the airline’s app.
You can watch in real-time as the photo is uploaded and analysed before a location is found.
Once a destination has been found, the app will indicate the nearest airport and work out potential travel routes.
I put the feature to the test with my own Instagram posts.
I took a screengrab from an Instagram post of the Blue Church in Bratislava, Slovakia.
After the photo was uploaded onto the app, I was given the option to book a flight to Vienna, which is one hour away from Bratislava.
While some airlines fly directly from the UK to Bratislava, easyJet gave me their closest route.
You then simply click on “start booking” to personal routes to your location, including cheap fares.
find the cheap fares, as well as potential departure airports in the UK.
Earlier this month, we revealed how passengers can get the best seats on an easyJet plane – and which ones to avoid.
If you’re willing to pay extra for a spot on the plane, and want to get off quickly, it’s best to book a seat at the front of the plane, within in the first five rows.
We also revealed which seats have the best legroom on easyJet flights.
Meanwhile, Ryanair has launched a brand new website feature that will save you money on your next holiday.
