Leicester 4 Tottenham 1: Spurs COLLAPSE after going 1-0 up and suffer huge blow in top-four hopes

TOTTENHAM suffered a huge blow to their top four hopes as they were thumped 4-1 by Leicester at the King Power Stadium.

Rodrigo Bentancur gave Spurs an early lead as they looked to build on their superb victory over Manchester City last weekend.

But Brendan Rodgers’ men fought back in sensational fashion as Nampalys Mendy and James Maddison both scored within a three-minute spell to turn things around.

Kelechi Iheanacho then added a third on the stroke of half-time as Tottenham’s defence crumbled before Antonio Conte’s eyes.

Leicester thought they had added to their lead in the second when Barnes slotted home, only for the goal to be ruled out for a marginal offside.

But Barnes did then add a fourth in the 82nd minute, curling home to seal a comprehensive win.
