White, who’s been in charge of the UFC for more than 20 years, launched into a full blown attack on the beautiful game and said he “can’t stand it”.

Despite his claims, figures at the World Cup have been going through the roof.

According to Fifa, 36.4million people watched Japan’s group stage defeat to Costa Rica.

Meanwhile, England‘s goalless draw with the USA had a peak audience of 19.7m viewers on FOX.

But White still hasn’t been impressed even though the sport is continuing to grow in America.

Speaking on a podcast, he said: “Soccer? Whole other ball game. Can’t stand soccer, I think that it’s the least talented sport on earth.

“There’s a reason three-year-olds can play soccer, OK? You run around and kick a ball.

“You wouldn’t say that if you were in Brazil, dude I’d say this in any country ever.
