LAURA WOODS broke down in tears after a caller paid tribute to the radio presenter on her final day at talkSPORT.
It took just 23 minutes for Woods to shed a tear in her final shift as a Manchester United fan named Ivor paid an emotional tribute.

Co-host Ally McCoist also found the tribute very touching
The 82-year-old praised Woods for her “bubbly personality” and her ability to respect other people’s opinions while not being afraid to share her own.
Ivor said on talkSPORT: “I don’t want to waste too much of your time on your final day, just a few words of appreciation and then one verse of rhyme, if that’s OK.
“We all know you have the face for TV, but you certainly have the voice for radio so just a few words of thanks for your efforts on talkSPORT these last few years.
“Your bubbly personality shines through every early morning that you broadcast, being never afraid to offer an opinion, but always respectful and professional of other opinions.
“You have a knack of interacting with your co-presenters in a humorous way without detracting from the topic discussed.
“In thanks to you for getting each day off to a cheerful but informative start. I sincerely wish you all the best wherever your career takes you in the future, now the verse.”
Ivor then read: “Mr Brazil is good, Ray Parlour not bad, super Ally is great, Gabby’s Jack the Lad.
“But one presenter shines above the rest, that’s Laura Woods who’s simply the best.”

Ally McCoist began applauding and said: “Ivor I’m just about weeping uncontrollably myself in the studio, honestly that was fantastic mate.”
Woods shared her gratitude for the tribute and had to wipe away tears before composing herself.
She then replied saying: “Ivor I have to admit you’ve broken me early, I’m already crying and it’s only 6:23.”
Woods was back on air this week after enjoying an eventful few days at Glastonbury where she enjoyed Elton John’s final live show in England and danced on a man’s shoulders.
The presenter got into the festival spirit by rocking pigtails and a green and white co-ed set, but also suffered a wardrobe malfunction and had to be patched up by a pal.
