Lamborghini Aventador worth half a million pounds is destroyed after crashing into bus at 4am at Oxford Circus

A LAMBORGHINI supercar worth around £450,000 appeared written off after it smashed into a bus in Central London.

A TikTok video showed shocking scenes after a Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster collided with a bus at Oxford Circus Underground Station during the early hours of Saturday morning.

The Lamborghini appeared to have suffered catastrophic damage to its front end.

The bus also suffered damage, losing a large chunk of its right side between the tyre arches.

The video showed the Italian supercar, famed for its phenomenal speed and acceleration, being towed away from the scene at Margaret Street’s junction with Regent Street.

The video suggested the sports car collided with the bus’s rear or side.

The incident prompted some attempts at humour on social media.
One user posted, “You can’t park there” and “It’s only a scratch,” while others joked,”Someone has lost their No Claims Bonus!” and “You can’t stop in a yellow box junction!”

The Metropolitan Police confirmed they were called out to the junction of Margaret Street and Regent Street to reports of a collision between a car and a bus.

A spokesman for the Met said there were no serious injuries . No arrests were made.
