Khloe Kardashian legally changes son Tatum’s name a year after his birth

Khloe Kardashian has legally changed the name of her son Tatum just over a year after his birth, People has reported.

According to the publication, Kardashian, 39, has kept the name Tatum Thompson after previously putting down ‘Baby Kardashian’ on his birth certificate.

Kardashian shares her tiny tot, 13 months, with her NBA star ex Tristan Thompson, 32. The pair also share daughter True Thompson, five, together.

Unlike True’s birth, where they announced her name at the same time as her birth, Kardashian did not share her new son’s name at the time of his arrival.

“Khloe is on cloud nine. Getting a sibling for True has been such a journey. She is very excited to be a mom again,” a source told People “She really wanted a baby boy.”

“Khloe hasn’t shared a name yet,” the source added. “She is taking her time with the name. She wants it to be just right.”

Kardashian and Thompson welcomed Tatum via surrogate in July last year.

The duo were in the process of rekindling their romance when they turned to surrogacy, but sadly split before the baby’s birth.

They welcomed True in 2018 when they were still together.

The name confirmation comes after Khloe’s sister, Kylie Jenner, changed the name of her son with rapper Travis Scott.

The couple welcomed a baby boy in February last year and announced at the time that they had named him Wolf.

But just one month later, they said they decided to ditch the moniker.

“FYI: Our son’s name isn’t Wolf anymore,” Jenner told her followers at the time. “We just really didn’t feel like it was him. Just wanted to share because we keep seeing Wolf everywhere.”

He’s now known as as Aire Webster.
