INDIAN racing driver KE Kumar has died at the age of 59 following a horror crash in India.
Kumar was competing in a saloon race during Round 2 of the 2022 MRF Indian National Car Racing Championship on Sunday.

But it ended in tragic circumstances as he crashed while going around the Madras International Circuit.
The race was immediately red flagged and Kumar was rushed to hospital following an examination at the track’s medical centre.
Tragically, he later passed away as a result of the injuries sustained in the crash.
The races scheduled for the rest of the day were cancelled.
The Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India have launched an investigation into the matter.
Vicky Chandhok, vice-president of the Madras International Circuit, said: “It is a most unfortunate incident.
“Kumar was an experienced racer. I have known him for several decades as a friend and competitor.
“The MMSC and entire racing fraternity mourn his passing away and convey heartfelt condolences to his family.”
