Kathy Griffin has filed for divorce from her husband of nearly four years, Randy Bick.
The 63-year-old comedian took to Instagram to react to the news, writing simply: “Well… s–t. This sucks.”
The couple have been together since 2011, but didn’t tie the knot until New Year’s Day in 2020.

According to court documents obtained by People, the couples’ date of separation is listed as December 22nd, citing irreconcilable differences. Bick, 44, is a marketing executive.
For the couple’s wedding day in 2020, Griffin wore the same dress that she was wearing on their first date. The ceremony was officiated by actress Lily Tomlin.
“What was supposed to be a shallow, ‘toot it and boot it’ one-night stand has grown and flourished into something far more meaningful,” said the Grace and Frankie star, 84, as she began the ceremony.
At the time, Griffin told People: “Randy and I are doing sort of toy rings for the ceremony because neither one of us like wearing rings ever. So we will never wear rings. Deal with it.”

The pair first met at a food and wine festival in 2011. “I didn’t think it would last [because] he’s 18 years younger than I am!” Griffin joked in 2016.
However, her assumptions were quickly proven wrong, with the comedian saying she soon found him “very sweet and very mellow.”
“He’s like a regular guy, you know, he’s like a real guy,” she previously told People. “He’s not like a Hollywood guy.”
Though they briefly split up in 2018, the pair reunited within a few months.

According to the court documents, Griffin requested that the spousal support for both parties be terminated, and that she requested the court “enforce premarital agreement dated 12/23/2019.”
Griffin was previously married to Matt Moline from 2001 to 2006.
