THE Princess of Wales helped turn over a new leaf in memory of Queen Elizabeth II.
Kate, 40, smiled in delight as she used a space to plant a wild cherry tree in the grounds of Westminster Abbey.

The sapling is among one million trees planted across the country and Commonwealth for the Queen’s Green Canopy (QGC).
A plaque under the tree was unveiled with the words: “This wild cherry tree, a gift from the Duchy of Cornwall, was dedicated in memory of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.”
It was carried out last week ahead of Kate’s Christmas carol concert at Westminster Abbey which will be aired on Christmas Eve.
