Los Blancos have a two-week break, before they return to action at home to Mallorca on January 3.

And Jude is spending some of the festive period back in England as he took to the stands at the MKM Stadium in Hull.

Brother Jobe, 18, joined Sunderland in the summer, following his sibling in leaving Birmingham.

Jobe’s dad Mark is living with him in Sunderland, while mum Denise is in Spain with Jude – who also attended Sunderland’s 3-0 defeat to Coventry before Christmas.

And the Championship midfielder has enjoyed a sensational start to life in the North East, scoring four goals and providing one assist for the Black Cats.

His recent form even saw him linked with a move to Real Madrid – where Jude is tearing it up.

Jobe started in his usual No10 role against Hull, with Sunderland beginning the day in ninth place, three points adrift of the play-offs under new manager Michael Beale.

But while Jobe is showing tremendous promise, he still has some way to go to replicate his older brother.

Jobe has been sensational since joining Sunderland

Jude, who wore a gilet to the game and also seemed to be rocking a Sunderland scarf, has started life in the Spanish capital in remarkable fashion.

He has scored 17 goals and provided five assists in 21 appearances for the 14-time European champions.

Jude is now widely considered one of the best players in the world alongside the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland.

Real Madrid moved above Girona at the top of the LaLiga table following their late win over Alaves – which came thanks to a stoppage time strike from Lucas Vazquez.

They also booked their spot in the last 16 of the Champions League with a perfect group-stage record.
