Bellingham, 20, then added a brilliant second goal, producing a mazy dribble before slotting the ball into the net.

The former Borussia Dortmund star gushed over his pal Vinicius Jr following his side’s dramatic win.

On the Brazilian, Bellingham told Movistar: “He’s probably the best in the world for me.

“He’s one of the most talented players I’ve ever played with.”

Bellingham has scored eight goals in his first nine matches since joining Real Madrid.

On his stunning start to life in Spain, he humbly said: “I believe in myself, but I didn’t know it would be this good.

“I owe it to the staff and my team-mates.”

Bellingham’s brilliant dribble and finish last night drew comparisons to the great Diego Maradona – but the Brummy ace played down such suggestions.

He added: “That’s a bit too much!

“It was a nice goal. From what I’ve seen on YouTube and documentaries, his quality was a bit more than mine, or a lot more. I’m just trying to contribute in a Jude way.”

After Bellingham put Real Madrid 2-1 up, Napoli equalised from the penalty spot via Piotr Zielinski.

Carlo Ancelotti‘s men found a winner on 78 minutes, when Fede Valverde’s shot cannoned off the bar and in off Alex Meret‘s back.

On Bellingham’s impact, Ancelotti gushed after the game: “What’s surprising is he’s only 20.

“It seems like he’s 30 with his character, his personality. He’s always focused, he knows what he has to do.

“That’s strange for a player who’s just 20. And then the quality he has, the physical strength.

“Obviously it’s a bit surprising, it’s surprising everyone.”
