Jones, 35, will be making his first walk to the cage in over THREE YEARS and his long-awaited heavyweight debut, which will be for the vacant title.

Bones has undergone a dramatic body transformation during his hiatus but has kept his physique under wraps since the announcement of his return.

But fans got a glimpse at his frame in a recent video from brand entrepreneur Hans Molenkamp.

Molenkamp shared footage of a heavier-than-usual Jones hitting pads with coach Brandon Gibson to his Instagram on Wednesday.

Jones’ arms looked considerably bigger than when he was competing at 205lb and he clearly had more power in his punches.

Molenkamp’s accompanying caption for the post read: “The return of the OG Apex Predator @jonnybones #ufc285.”

Fight fans were quick to comment, with one saying: “Best of the best.”

Another said: “Just letting the haters know he still fast #andnew.”

And another said: “Champ Champ Camp.”

One remarked: “The Goat.”

Jones also commented, saying: “Very smart about what we show to the public, just some ones in twos for the camera.

“No real movement, no strategy work. Coach isn’t even in the southpaw stance, just 1’s and 2s.”

Jones hasn’t set foot inside the cage since his controversial and final defence of the light-heavyweight title against Dominick Reyes at UFC 247.

The American has used his time on the sidelines to bulk up for his long-awaited move up to heavyweight – which has been over a decade in the making.

But he plans to keep his full physique and weight a secret until he goes face-to-face with Gane.

He told the MMA Underground: “I want Ciryl to see me for the first time and it be a nice surprise.”

He added: “I felt my psychical size and strength was ready to go about four months ago.

“Dana [White] says there was never a Stipe fight on the line but there was, there was, they just couldn’t come to an agreement.

“I’ve been trying to prepare for Francis, I did a whole training camp preparing for Stipe.

“And now we got Ciryl Gane.”
