JOCKEY Nico de Boinville hit out at ITV presenter Matt Chapman moments after his horse Jingko Blue pulled up in the Novices’ Hurdle.
De Boinville, 34, and trainer Nicky Henderson endured a nightmare opening day at the Cheltenham Festival as four of their hopefuls pulled up.

And things did not get any better for Brits in the first race of day two.
Jingko Blue, who came into the Novices’ Hurdle an 18/1 outsider, pulled up as English jockey De Boinville was left thoroughly frustrated.
And those difficult emotions boiled over when ITV Racing presenter and Sun Racing columnist Chapman approached the rider after the race.
Chapman, who fancies a British trainer to have THREE winners on Thursday at Cheltenham, said: “Nico De Boinville out the back on Jingko Blue. Jinko, I almost feel bad asking but…”
The presenter then thrust the microphone in the face of the jockey.
De Boinville proceeded to give Chapman a death stare, before he added: “You should feel bad asking.
“Same story, different day.”
Reacting to the clip, one fan said: “Feel bad for Nico De Boinville. Frustrating week so far.”
While another responded: “Man looked like he wanted to deck Matt Chapman lol.”
And a third replied: “I literally said before the race Jingko Blue to come last, horror show for Henderson.”
It should be pointed out that the pair are good mates off the track.
Willie Mullins has utterly dominated rival trainer Henderson at Cheltenham so far this week.
Most notably, he capitalised on Constitution Hill’s absence from the Champion Hurdle by winning with State Man.
And one punter claimed an astonishing sum following Mullins’ big win on Tuesday.
