WEST HAM’s plans to re-sign Jesse Lingard could be scuppered by a Premier League rival, it’s been claimed.
Lingard has been training with the East Londoners for the last few weeks to keep himself fit as he bids to find a new club.

It’s been claimed Hammers boss David Moyes is contemplating adding the free agent to his squad to further bolster his attacking options for the long season ahead.
But the Scot will reportedly face competition for his services.
That’s according to Sky Sports, who claim Wolves are also sniffing about the former Manchester United man.
It’s claimed that last season’s relegation battlers could make a move for the England international in “the coming days”.
Moyes has remained tight-lipped on the possibility of re-signing Lingard, who snubbed a permanent move to the London Stadium last year in favour of a transfer to Nottingham Forest.
But he’s been impressed by what he’s seen of the 30-year-old during his brief training stint with his troops.
When asked about Lingard, he told The Athletic: “Jesse’s doing quite well and he’s getting his shape back.
“But there will be no discussion on Jesse yet.

“When we’re ready, we will do; but he’s working hard and he’s shown a great attitude to his work.
“It’s taken a bit of time to get him back into condition.”
West Ham will be back in action a week on Saturday, welcoming defending Premier League champions Manchester City to the London Stadium.
Wolves, meanwhile, will welcome Liverpool to Molineux.
