Jennifer Lawrence has addressed, for the first time, rumours she had an affair with Australian actor Liam Hemsworth.
The No Hard Feelings actress spoke about the fan-theory behind Miley Cyrus‘s break-up anthem, Flowers, during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
”There was already a lot of talk that the music video was referencing a secret fling that you had with Liam Hemsworth while he was with Miley Cyrus,” Cohen began.

“Not true,” Lawrence jumped in.
“Can you please respond to this?” the host asked.
“I would love to: Not true, total rumour,” the Oscar-winner said.
“I mean, we all know me and Liam, like, kissed one time,” she noted, referencing their onscreen kiss in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1.
“It was years after they’d broke up,” she added.
Hemsworth starred alongside Lawrence in the action movie franchise with their characters, Katniss and Gale, involved in a love triangle with actor Josh Hutcherson’s character Peeta.
Fans believe Cyrus’s choice of gold dress while walking the streets of Los Angeles in the music video was a not-so-subtle nod to a gold gown Lawrence wore to the 2012 Hunger Games premiere in LA.
But J.Law, as she’s affectionately known by fans, doesn’t agree.
“So I just assumed that was, like, a coincidence.” she said.
Cyrus’s break-up track was released on Hemsworth’s 33rd birthday, earlier this year, leading to plenty of speculation and analysis of the lyrics in the track.
The Hollywood couple first met while filming The Last Song in 2009 and embarked on an on-off relationship before getting engaged in 2012.
They then postponed their nuptials in April 2013, before calling off the engagement altogether in September.
The pair got back together in 2016, getting engaged again within months before marrying in a Byron Bay ceremony at the end of 2018.
Cyrus and Hemsworth then split again in August 2019.
Meanwhile, Lawrence is married to art gallery director Cooke Maroney whom she first began dating in 2018.
