Jennifer Coolidge announces she’s coming Down Under for Vivid Sydney in cheeky video message

The White Lotus star Jennifer Coolidge has been to Hawaii and to Sicily, and now she’s coming Down Under.

In an Instagram video shared this morning, the 61-year-old Legally Blonde actress and enduring gay icon revealed that although she missed Sydney World Pride – maybe it’s because “these gays [were] trying to kill [her]”? – she will be venturing to the Harbour City for another renowned event.

“Hey Australia, it’s Jennifer Coolidge, and I just got really exciting news,” Coolidge, wearing a white coat and lying on a bed, says in the video.

“[The White Lotus creator] Mike White and I are coming to Vivid Sydney on June 10. We’ll see you there,” she concludes, closing the video with a smile and a cheeky raised eyebrow.

“Guess who’s coming to the spectacular Sydney, Australia in June?! 💕🇦🇺 And the best part… Mike White is coming too!” she captioned the video.

Both Coolidge and White will be appearing as part of Vivid Ideas at the event ‘Mike White & Jennifer Coolidge in Conversation’, where they’re expected to discuss their career highs and lows and much more as they reflect on their lives in Hollywood.

The event will be moderated by Australian author Benjamin Law and hosted at the Aware Super Theatre at the ICC in Darling Harbour, with tickets on sale now on the Vivid Sydney website.

Coolidge, like Brendan Fraser, has recently seen a career renaissance, largely thanks to HBO‘s The White Lotus.

Although she’s had decades in the spotlight’s periphery with roles in American Pie and A Cinderella Story, to name a few, her career largely saw her act in a series of supporting roles, until her casting as Tanya McQuoid in both seasons of the comedy-drama elevated her finally to main cast status.

She’s since received critical acclaim for her role as McQuoid, which saw her win a Golden Globe and more.
