The Arbroath FC broadcaster’s “jeezy peeps” jibe to a wayward free kick had fans in stitches including former Celtic star turned TV pundit Chris Sutton.

He shared a clip from the Championship side’s in-house telly team of Yasin Ben El-Mhanni’s effort against Inverness flying wide.

Sutton posted: “Love this”.

A fan joked: “I’d love to hear you and Ally McCoist do a commentary like that.”

Another punter said: “This is better than the BBC.”

Scott’s co-commentator Allen ‘Fermer’ Innes also said after a home defeat: “Dunfermline, well done. You’ve pumped us, nae twa doots.”

A fan from East Kilbride joked: “That’s even a different language to me.”

Scott told The Courier: “I used the phrase ‘jeezy peeps’ as a polite way to describe the outcome of Yasin’s free kick.

“It headed towards the old Peppo’s fish and chip shop. I described it as I would if I was on the terrace. I keep it real.”
