Jamie Foxx‘s rep has shut down a “completely inaccurate” claim a COVID-19 vaccine was behind the actor’s recent medical emergency and hospitalisation.
Gossip columnist A.J. Benza made the unsubstantiated claim on the Ask Dr. Drew podcast last Saturday.
Benza alleged to host Drew Pinsky that he’d heard Foxx had developed a blood clot after being forced to receive the jab while working on a film and subsequently suffered a stroke.
Citing a source “in the room” with Foxx when he was hospitalised, Benza also went as far as to claim the vaccine “caused him at that point to be partially paralysed and blind.”

Despite no official reports on the star’s condition, two weeks ago, boxing legend Mike Tyson let slip that the Oscar-winning actor suffered from a stroke, according to a report in The Sun.
Tyson, 56, who has been planning a biopic starring Foxx, reportedly said, “He’s not feeling well. They said a stroke. I have no idea what happened to him.”
Prior to Tyson’s comment, Foxx’s eldest daughter Corinne revealed her father was rushed to hospital over a “medical complication” but gave minimal details.
