James Corden has broken down after revealing he’s quitting Hollywood wrapping up his show after eight seasons.
After moving to America in 2015 to take over Craig Ferguson as host of the American late-night talk show The Late Late Show, Corden has starred in films, hosted the Tony’s and become friends with the biggest names in Hollywood.

“There’s loads of things I’d love to do, but they’re very reliant on people wanting me to do them,” Corden said at an event in Los Angeles.
“I haven’t felt this scared since I decided to take the show, to move here,” Corden said of his future. “I haven’t felt on such unstable ground,” but acknowledged “I have to embrace that fear.”
The multi-Emmy winner had lots to say regarding the next step of his career but reflected on his time as a show host and was filled with emotions.

“It’s everything I ever wanted the show to be. I wanted it to be joyful, big, ambitious and full of fun, love and light. So It is an immense feeling of pride.
“Yet It feels incredibly strange. It is an unnatural feeling to walk away from something you love so much.
“It is not right because you are having such a great time. I get to go to work with all of my best friends and my job is to be creative every day,” he said.
Over the years, Corden had many segments that gained popularity for the show including his carpool karaoke which featured guests like fellow Brits Adele, One Direction and even Elton John.

Corden revealed he was “terrified of being unemployed” but will be waiting until his children finish school before moving back to the UK.
However, he mentioned he hopes to return to the theatre.

Corden won a Tony Award in 2012 for his performance in the show ‘One Man, Two Guvnors.‘
