Jadon Sancho handed career lifeline after Man Utd hell as ex-Red Devils boss Mourinho wants to sign him ‘at all costs’

JADON SANCHO has been handed a career lifeline to end his Manchester United hell.

That’s with former Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho reportedly keen on signing him for Roma “at all costs.”

Sancho, 23, is facing an uncertain future at Old Trafford after falling out with Erik ten Hag.

The pair clashed after United’s boss claimed Sancho’s training performances were not good enough.

It saw the winger hit out at Ten Hag on social media.

And Sancho has since been axed from first-team training, while also being banned from most areas of Carrington.

It remains to be seen if the England forward ever plays for United again, with Ten Hag demanding an apology to move things forward.

But Sancho could now be thrown a lifeline by Roma boss Mourinho.

Il Romanista claims the Special One is a big fan.

He believes Roma need a versatile wide-man who can link up play alongside Paulo Dybala and Romelu Lukaku.

And Mourinho has urged club chiefs to sign Sancho “at all costs.”

The player himself could jump at the chance of a move, having received an offer to play in Saudi Arabia earlier this month.

However, Sancho will have to take a huge cut on his current £250,000-a-week wages to complete a move to the Stadio Olimpico.

Mourinho is no stranger to working with ex-Premier League players at Roma.

Chris Smalling, Nemanja Matic, Tammy Abraham, Rui Patricio, Diego Llorente, Renato Sanches and Lukaku have all plied their trade under Jose in the Italian capital so far.

Smalling and Lukaku continue to play key roles for Roma, with Abraham injured and Matic joining Rennes over the summer.
