Most users – just under 70 per cent – have reported issues with logging in to DownDetector.

Although, about a quarter of those with issues say the problem lies with their server connection.

The free email service has yet to acknowledge any issues with the site.

Mail.com’s customer services doesn’t appear to be very active, either.

How have users reacted?

Users have already flocked to social media to seek answers.

“@maildotcom is everything ok with your servers? Was kicked out of my email client and can’t login,” one user wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

“I couldn’t manage to contact any support… Can you elaborate.”

Another replied: “I am the same, can’t log in and can’t reach anyone for help.”

People with multiple accounts have been left in the dark, according to responses on X.

Users say they have been struggling with the website and app for months.

Mail.com experienced issues with its app and website last month too.

In response, DownDetector user Emery Hayward wrote: “This has been going on for months and months they refuse to fix there app and website.

“They just don’t care about fixing the issue.”

The Sun has reached out to Mail.com for comment.
