GERMAN police have launched an international search for a rare £85,000 Porsche stolen from its underground hiding place.
The owner of the two-door Targa top sportscar left his prized possession in a parking area at Spinnerweg, in the North Rhine-Westphalia town of Haan, on February 1.

But when he went to collect it last week, it was nowhere to be found.
The luxury sports car, a 1968 Porsche 911 Targa with a striking orange paint job and removable roof, was last spotted by locals in June.
Mettmann Police said the stolen car was embellished with distinctive Fuchs wheels and license plates reading OB-EB155H.
The department said: “The value of the vehicle is estimated at around €100,000 [£85,000].”
It did not disclose why the owner left the car unattended in the underground parking area for six months.
The rare car was produced by German automobile giant Porsche AG between 1966 and 1989 and named after the Targa Florio, a legendary open road race held in the mountains of Sicily.
Meanwhile, in England, a gang of crooks have been busted for stealing more than £250,000 worth of luxury SUVs and prestige sports cars in just four months.
The trio were jointly charged with multiple counts of theft of a motor vehicle related to a stolen fleet including a £46,000 all-electric Range Rover Velar, a £30,000 Mazda 3 hatchback, and a £90,000 Range Rover Sport.
They were caught using the sophisticated tracking systems built into the very cars they stole.
Well-known Wheeler Dealers presenter Mike Brewer revealed in June he was left ‘heartbroken’ after another classic, a 1979 Mk 1 Ford Fiesta 1300S, went missing from a hotel car park.
He said he was hoping to do a “special build of a very special car” to celebrate the 20th year of the show.
Sadly, it was nicked before he had the chance.
