This weekend the hotel had a huge launch party featuring A-list guests – and even flew in pop megastar Beyonce to perform a one-hour set.

Bey, 41, who has not performed in four years, was paid a whopping £20million to hit the stage at the super-exclusive do.

The gig, which was strictly invitation only and enjoyed by only 300 guests, featured a surprise appearance from her daughter Blue Ivy.

A-list guests in attendance included model Kendall Jenner, actress Rebel Wilson and former One Direction member Liam Payne.

Guests sipped on 4,000 bottles of Moet & Chandon champagne, which were put in vending machines with free access.

Kendall Jenner also threw a lavish launch party for her new tequila brand, 818, at the hotel’s Cloud 22 Skypool.

Atlantis Resorts, owners of The Royal, spared no expense to ensure the party lived up to the hotel’s hype, with the Middle East’s first-ever water and fire fountain on display and a half hour firework set to cap off the night.

The hotel, which is estimated to have cost $1.4billion to build, is billed as the flashiest in the world with mind-blowing perks and facilities. Here we reveal what lucky guests can expect from their stay.
