THE six best holiday homes in the UK have been revealed, recognising the most remarkable staycation properties available to rent.

The Vrbo Holiday Homes of the Year list features stunning beach view homes, unique cottage escapes, modern city stays and historical houses, all in the UK.

One of the properties has its own private pub for guests

This year’s destinations include Bath, Edinburgh, Dorset, Oxfordshire, Herefordshire and the Isle of Skye.

The properties all feature special outdoor amenities that are inspiring traveller booking choices in 2024.

Across the board, the homes offer fire pits, hot tubs and a heated swimming pool, as well as unique additions like a grand piano and even a cosy pub just for guests within the home.

Now in its third year, the Holiday Homes of the Year highlight Vrbo’s most spectacular, private holiday homes, representing a variety of popular holiday destinations and budgets.

The homes are selected from the more than 2 million properties available worldwide on the Vrbo platform, based on certain criteria.

In order to be considered, properties must have positive guest reviews, standout amenities and spaces for spending time together with friends and family, a 4.9 or higher star rating and be managed by Premier Hosts.

Isle of Skye

The list started with a contemporary retreat nestled along the enchanting high tide line of Tides, Uig, in the Isle of Skye.
