There will be 130 holiday lodges and 20 camping barrels on the 10-acre site.

While most lodges will have bed space for between two to five guests, 10 premium lodges will be able to sleep up to seven people.

The Woodland Village will also be home to 20 camping barrels.

Other features include The Clubhouse Restaurant & Bar, which will serve up campfire-inspired grub in a woodland-themed setting.

There will also be several play areas for younger guests to explore, with climbing frames and rope bridges.

The Woodland Village will also have brick-building activities, nature trails, an entertainment hub, and colorful new Lego characters.

Helen Bull Division Director at Legoland Windsor Resort said: “The LEGOLAND Woodland Village has been a long time coming and we’re incredibly excited to now be taking bookings ahead of the official opening in May 2024.

“This moment marks years of planning and unwavering dedication to providing a magical experience for all our guests.

“The LEGOLAND Woodland Village is part of a significant transformation for the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort and we look forward to welcoming families to this new way to stay next year!”

Prices start from £295 for a family of four, which includes breakfast and one-day entry into the park.

Earlier this year, Karen Glassey, Operations Director at Legoland, told the Sun Online Travel Team: “I’m really excited about the new Woodland Village, which adds another type of accommodation to the park.

“When people stay at our hotels, it takes the pressure off the day and gives them extra time to enjoy all the rides and attractions.

“I’m looking forward to welcoming guests into our lodges – they’ll be the perfect place to unwind on a sunny summer‘s evening.”

And this isn’t the only exciting new addition taking place at a Legoland-themed attraction.

This autumn, the Legoland Discovery Centres in Birmingham and Manchester will be hosting their own Monster Parties, with a series of spooktacular attractions.

Meanwhile, the Legoland theme park is set to close one of its most popular rides by the end of the month.
