IF YOU fancy a taste of the jet-setting lifestyle, then you’ll jump at the chance to spend the night in a hotel room with its very own cockpit.
Located inside the Corendon Amsterdam New-West, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, in Amsterdam, the hotel has its very own 737 Cockpit Suite.

Holidaymakers will be able to use a flight simulator in the cockpit
Inside the 737 Cockpit Suite, guests will find a real cockpit from a Boeing 737 aircraft.
From the outside, visitors can see the nose of a plane poking out of the wall of the hotel.
Meanwhile, inside the room, hotel guests will be able to sit inside the cockpit and they’ll also be able to use a flight simulator too.
In addition to the unusual feature, the suite also has a king-size bed, which has a direct view of the cockpit.
There’s also a seating area, a conference room as well as a spacious bathroom, complete with a bathtub, rain shower and an audio speaker system.
Other features include a TV, a laptop safe, blackout curtains, a minibar as well as complimentary tea and coffee making facilities.
The hotel suite has been praised by guests on TripAdvisor too.
One person wrote: “The 737 suite is amazing. The 737 Suite is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The view from the suite is brilliant.
“It is very surreal, waking up to a Boeing 737 in your room, but it’s a fun addition to the room, which makes it totally unique, and it’s fun to have a snoop around the cockpit.”
Another person added: “I booked a one-night stay, and I was massively surprised when I opened the door and discovered a cockpit in my room. The front part of an airplane is built into the room.”
Someone else said: “A great experience – I had the chance to stay overnight in the cockpit suite. It was just amazing!”
Prices for the 737 Cockpit Suite start from €352 (£301) per night, based on two people sharing a room.
The hotel is located near Amsterdam city centre, and it is just a 26-minute tram journey from the Rijksmuseum.
EasyJet operates direct flights from the UK to Amsterdam, with one-way flights starting from £37 for a one-way ticket.
This isn’t the only hotel that’s been inspired by the aviation industry.
Concorde De Luxe Resort, Turkey
Inspired by the world’s fastest passenger plane, the Concorde De Luxe Resort is a must for aviation enthusiasts.
The hotel’s exterior has a curved, aerodynamic, roof with a “cockpit” at the top of the building that points towards a Blue Flag beach.
Despite the private beach being less than a five minute walk away, the hotel has four outdoor pools and an indoor pool all onsite.
There’s an adults-only pool, a splash park, hydrotherapy pool and an aqua park.
Other outdoor amenities include several tennis courts, a mini-golf course, a bowling alley, a club for the kids as well as plenty of other daytime games.
Private Jet Villa
A Boeing 737 plane has been transformed into a luxury hotel in Bali, and guests are invited to spend the night.
The Private Jet Villa can now be found on the clifftop, and officially opened to guests in March 2023.
The plane is now a two-bedroom villa, with double beds, kitchen and dining area, cocktail bar and lounging area.
The bathroom is built into the cockpit with a sunken bath along with a toilet and sink.
There is also an infinity swimming pool built into the cliff, complete with sunloungers, lounge area and firepit.

Several hotels in the UK are also out of the ordinary, having been converted from old prison buildings.
HMP Bridwell in Liverpool and Malmaison Hotel in Oxford are now luxurious hotels built into old prison cells.
