It’s not the first time Kahn has modified a taxi – back in 2018, the firm made a more luxurious version of the TX4.

Now, their transformation is based on the newer TX5 model.

The modifications start at the front end, where Kahn has crafted a new grille inspired by the current Mercedes-Maybach models.

The Farelady is equipped with a special ‘VIP’ light on the roof.

The company said that the seats are inspired by the Bugatti Chiron.

The taxi can be ordered in left or right-hand drive and in various colours, including black, blue, British racing green, silver or grey.

It includes wireless phone charging, configurable lighting and USB-C charging ports.

The firm was thrilled to work on one of the most iconic cars in the world.

Afzal Kahn, the founder of Kahn Design, said: “The Last of Line edition was a great success for us, with the vehicles all finding homes with private collectors.

“I look forward to embarking on a journey with new clients who wish to possess their own piece of British history in the form of the TX5 taxi,”

The Farelady isn’t cheap; it costs £118,800 with VAT included.

The car has also a wireless charging pad and switchable ambient LED lightingKahn Design,
