Inside stunning Celtic Wag’s “wild” first Old Firm derby experience as fans are left divided over one thing

And one Hoops ace’s celebrity missus was in attendance to take in her first Old Firm match.

Celtic emerged 3-2 winners in a thrilling derby clash in Glasgow’s east end.

It was a huge result that delivers a potentially decisive blow in this season’s Premiership title race.

The triumph, won with a Kyogo double and Jota effort, moves Ange Postecoglou’s men 12 points clear at the top of the table.

If they continue their incredible run of form, it means the Hoops could be crowned champions once again in just a few weeks’ time.

Potentially, it could be secured on the weekend of May 6/7.

But for now at least, Hoops fans will be basking in their derby glory.

And one of their newest fans certainly loved her first experience of the Old Firm clash.

Australian TV star Brittany Hockley was in attendance at Parkhead.

She’s the partner of goalkeeper Benjamin Sieigrst, who wasn’t part of the matchday squad as he continues to work his way back from an injury.

31-year old Swiss stopper Siegrist met Brittany, 35, when the Hoops were on their of Australia during the World Cup break.

After meeting on a celebrity dating app, the two struck up a romance which they’ve had to do long distance until now.

Brittany, who shot to fame in Australia after appearing on The Bachelor, flew to Scotland earlier this week to end her long wait to see goalie Benji again.

The loved-up couple have enjoyed a fun-packed week, taking in the sights of Edinburgh and Gleneagles, and Brittany watched on as the Hoops secured that huge three points this weekend.

Taking to her Instagram stories, Brittany – who is now a popular radio and podcast host down under – was in awe of the atmosphere at Parkhead.

She posted a video of the Celtic fans doing ‘the Poznan’, captioned simply with “wild.”

It wouldn’t be a trip to a footie match in Scotland without sampling a pie, and Brittany didn’t disappoint.

And she absolutely loved it.

Posting a picture of the savoury snack to social media, she said: “Best part (besides Ben, the fans and winning of course) has to be the pies.”

However, how Brittany decided to eat the pies in question seemed to divide fans.

She posted a short clip of herself dousing the steak pies in tomato sauce, and she revealed that caught the attention of the people around her!

She put the vote to her followers

Brittany added: “OK everyone here (including Ben) thinks I’m super weird because I put sauce on my pie.

“But I think they are crazy for having a sauce-less pie!”

Such was the controversy, Brittany put the situation to her 216,000 Instagram followers.

She asked ‘sauce on the pie for the win’ or ‘sauceless (dry) pie.’

Thankfully for Brittany, it seems like fans were on side.

93 per-cent of voters agreed with her call to have sauce with her pie – although seven per-cent felt it should have been left as it was!

The Hoops’ win has them on the cusp of title glory once again.

The thrilling win at Parkhead all but extinguished Rangers’ fading hopes of catching their Glasgow rivals.
