Plenty of famous faces were in attendance to shower the Rare Beauty founder with well-wishes, including Paris Hilton and record producer Benny Blanco.
The next day, she hosted a bright pink Barbie-themed bash, complete with a heart-shaped cake and personalised cookies.

The Only Murders in the Building star shared a carousel of photos from her Friday night party to Instagram, showing off the bright red Bottega Veneta mini-dress that she donned for the occasion.
Gomez also uploaded photos that gave us a glimpse at the guest list, including a photo of her smiling with Paris Hilton and Benny Blanco. She and Hilton bonded at Britney Spears’ wedding last year, but Blanco’s inclusion was a surprise to many fans.

In a 2020 interview, Blanco seemingly shaded Gomez, while comparing her music to that of her ex-boyfriend, Justin Bieber.
“Justin’s not one of those cookie-cutter pop artists,” Blanco said at the time. “Like, you know, they’re like, ‘This is my new single and here’s my makeup line.’ And he’s like, Justin’s like, ‘Yo. I have a pimple and I have anxiety today.'”
To her stories, Gomez also shared a sweet black-and-white snap of her posing with Christina Aguilera.

Also in attendance were model Connar Franklin and singers Sabrina Claudio and Karol G.
Noticeably absent from the photos of the party was Taylor Swift, Gomez’s best friend. She’s currently on tour at the moment, but fans noted that Swift purposely didn’t book a show on her BFF’s birthday – so there’s a chance she was in attendance but hid from the cameras.
Nicola Peltz was also not in attendance, as she’s currently on vacation in Saint Tropez with her husband, Brooklyn Beckham. Peltz honoured Gomez with an Instagram post instead. “Happy birthday to my soul sister,” she wrote. “I love you more than you know. I am so blessed to have you by my side in this life thank you for being such a beautiful light in this world.”

If one party wasn’t enough, Selena then threw a second bash, which also seemed to double as a screening of the Barbie movie. Guest dressed all in pink, with fluffy cowboy hats and feather boas.
Of course, there was a Barbie-themed cake and snacks as well.
Fans noticed that Selena’s former friend, Francia Raísa, who donated a kidney to Gomez in 2017, was also not in attendance.
The pair, who were inseparable for over a decade, seemingly had a falling out late last year. When Gomez’s documentary, My Mind and Me, was released in November 2022, notably excluded any mention of Raísa by name, even though it included a small montage about Gomez’s kidney transplant.
Later, Gomez admitted during a Rolling Stone interview that her “only friend” in the industry was Taylor Swift, prompting speculation she and Raísa – a Hollywood actress – were no longer pals.
Raísa then fanned the flames by responding to an Instagram snippet of Gomez’ interview with one blunt word: “Interesting”. She later deleted the comment.
After seeing the viral social media speculation over the status of their friendship, Gomez decided to comment on a TikTok video with a message that did nothing to quell the rumours.
“Sorry I didn’t mention every person I know,” she simply wrote.
