JONATHAN Ross is one of the best-loved names on British telly, but many may not know he’s also a not-so-secret petrolhead.
The star’s extensive collection includes a stunning £140,000 Jaguar, as well as a more humble Nissan model which has been dubbed “one of the ugliest of all time”.

A lover of classic cars, Jonathan is most often seen out and about near his North London home in a Vintage Jaguar E-Type.
The retro V12 is estimated to be worth around £120,000.
However, they have been known to sell for as much as £500,000 in mint condition.

The talk show host borrowed a stunning red Mercedes SLS for a short time in 2011.
Worth around £200,000, and with eye-catching gullwing doors, the supercar was not without its challenges, as Jonathan admitted struggling with a fairly basic part.
In a post on his X page at the time, he wrote: “I have, rather surprisingly, been loaned the new Mercedes sports car for the week.
“It is rather gorgeous I must admit. Lift, anyone?
“Tragically, I cannot work out how to open the petrol thingy on this flash car.
“Might have to call AA.”
Morgan Roadster

The telly star is known to have purchased a luxurious Morgan Roadster in the late noughties, which would be worth in the region of £50,000 today.
The Worcestershire-based brand, founded in 1910, specialises in offering traditionally designed motors that wouldn’t look out of place on the 1930s sports car scene.
It even still uses wood in the construction of the frames to this day.
The Roadster, a V6 model produced from 2004 to 2019, offered a 280 horsepower engine putting out a top speed of 140mph underneath its retro, soft-top styling.
Mazda MX-5

The Mazda is a real cult favourite among car enthusiasts, beloved for offering a sports car look and performance on a hatchback budget.
Jonathan’s version is a particularly stand-out model thanks to the fact that it’s painted in eye-popping bright orange.
The customisation has reportedly pushed the value of the car up to around £20,000.
Nissan S Cargo

One of the most unusual models in Jonathan’s stable is the Nissan S Cargo.
Once dubbed “the ugliest car ever made” by motoring journalist Doug DeMuro, the bubble-style bodywork has drawn criticism from petrolheads.
The name is actually a play on the word “escargot”, French for snail, thanks to it bearing a striking resemblance to a snail peeking out of its shell.
It has also drawn comparisons to the futuristic car designed by Homer Simpson in the classic 1991 episode ‘Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?’.
