Inside James Maddison’s personalised private box at Tottenham with incredible mural on the wall

TOTTENHAM new boy James Maddison has wasted no time in getting used to his surroundings at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The attacking midfielder joined the club in a £45million deal from Leicester in June and his impact has been immediately apparent on the Tottenham team.

Ahead of the season, he was named as a surprise vice-captain alongside Cristian Romero as Heung Min Son was handed the captain’s armband by manager Ange Postecoglou.

He wasted no time in repaying his manager’s faith on the field and registered two assists in Spurs’ opener against Brentford.

He also starred in Tottenham’s 2-0 victory over Manchester United this weekend as a key part of Postecoglou’s new look Tottenham side.

His friends and family would have been able to enjoy his performance from the midfielder’s swanky new box at Spurs’ home ground, which features a personalised mural on the wall.

The mural features multiple paintings of Maddison in a Spurs shirt on the wall, surrounded by diamonds, footballs and crowns.

There is also a painting that shows Maddison proudly flexing his number 10 Spurs shirt, which he inherited from Harry Kane when he joined Bayern Munich this month.

The mural also features homages to Maddison’s three children, including his newborn baby twins who were born days after the midfielder joined Spurs.

And of course, there are paintings of the player’s two dogs on the wall too.

The private box leads out to an incredible view of the football pitch, and it was here that Eric Dier was joined by Dele Alli as the two watched Spurs’ victory over United from the stands on the weekend – both were guests in Maddison’s box for that game.

Spurs fans were delighted to see Maddison settling in well to his new surroundings and tweeted their praise of the mural.

One fan wrote: “Absolutely amazing!!”

Another tweeted: “Our number 10.” alongside a bullseye emoji.

Another wrote: “Brilliant.”

While a fourth speculated as to whether Maddison had taken Kane’s executive box as well as his shirt number and said: “Is that King Kane’s old box?”

Maddison picked up a minor injury against United on the weekend and faces a race against time to be fit for Saturday’s match with Bournemouth.

A scan revealed that the midfielder had suffered minor damage to his ankle and knee.
