The unusual house is built down into the ground in a keyhole-shaped opening in the turf.
A set of steps leads down into the front garden, with the gorgeous metal and glass structure set behind it.
Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the area with natural light and, from the upstairs, provide excellent views of the surrounding countryside.
The desirable let certainly doesn’t come cheap, with a price tag of £835 a night, which works out at almost £6,000 a week.
However, renters get what they pay for, as the place boasts a range of luxury features.
These include a hot tub heated by a wood-burning stove, a home gym and an outside sitting area with a fire pit.
Inside, there are two spacious living rooms, a games room and six bedrooms, with space for 16 guests at a time.
The listing for the property on one rental site reads: “Woolbrook Reservoir in Sidmouth is a luxury, uniquely designed celebration home with a sprawling top-tier private garden (with hot tub, bar and countryside views).
“Sky-high glass frames a light-flooded central courtyard around which lie 6 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, a huge high-spec kitchen/diner, sitting room and games room.
“The inside space extends out to a covered BBQ area with more seating, table tennis and pool table via bifold doors, making it perfect for gatherings no matter the weather.
“A flight of external stairs leading from the atrium takes you to a deck and then on to the top-level garden which is completely private and has far-reaching countryside views.”
