AN EV campervan complete with beds and a shower can be picked up for under £5,000 – but there’s a catch.
The motorhome is one of the most unusual available and is certainly a new approach to life on the road.

Released by the Hanan Xinge Motorcycle Company in China, the Tuk Tuk RV is a bizarre all-electric three-wheeler.
Features packed inside include sleeping areas, a fridge, a shower and a camping stove.
All that is available for just £4,031, with an added discount if you plump for a trio.
However, the company itself doesn’t make the motor itself any more.
Buyers instead must pick it up second hand – and will need to pay thousands to have it shopped from overseas.
For example, one model is selling for £2,000 on Chinese second-hand site Alibaba – but overseas shipping fees could make it much, much more.
The little EV is just 9ft long and weighs 635kg.
Nonetheless, its 7.2 kWh battery (about 10% the size of a Tesla’s) packs a punch, providing a top speed of 25mph.
Inside, electrical appliances are powered by a small onboard generator and fuel tank, while some also have solar panels fitted for extra juice.
Xinge has not yet given specifics on the charging infrastructure and there has been no mention of a fast-charging capability.
The decor is relatively sparse, with a sofa bed, wooden or false marble countertops and a cramped cockpit.
It comes after Top Gear legend Richard Hammond revealed why drivers won’t buy EVs, even though they are “amazing”.
