Inside amazing car collection of football boss who boasts about £2m Ferrari and hangs out with reality stars

FROM a £2 million Ferrari to 4×4 Bentleys – the car collection of an eccentric former football boss will leave you gobsmacked.

Glenn Tamplin has owned Essex clubs Billericay Town and Romford F.C. and calls an £18 million mansion his home.

Surrounded by 69 acres of stunning land in Abridge, Essex, and boasting his own nine-hole golf course and dune buggy racing track, the steel entrepreneur lives a life of splendid luxury.

But sitting in the garage of his 18,500 square-foot mega-pad are a fleet of eye-popping super cars the dad-of-six has spent millions on.

Among the extraordinary collection is a £2 million white Ferrari LaFerrari.

Tamplin shared a snap of the car on Twitter after a social media troll said his collection was not impressive unless it had one in it.

LaFerrari’s have been known to reach 231mph pedal to the metal and they do 0-60mph in a mind-bending 2.4 seconds.

But that’s not the only eye-catcher in Tamplin – who is pals with Towie stars Mark Wright and Jake Hall – collection.

He also bought not one but two custom £1m Ferrari F12 TDFs – only 399 of them were ever made.

What’s more, the former footie boss wrapped one in a Billericay Town FC shirt when he owned the club between 2016-2019.

Speaking of the cars, he said: “Typical that two came along at the same time – a red one and a blue one – so I ended up buying both of them because they are an investment at the end of the day because they are only going to go up in value.

“I wanted to give it an edge, which is why we wrapped it in the Billericay shirts and made it into the Billericay Town F12 TDF, rather than the Glenn Tamplin F12 TDF.”

But one of the standouts of the 51-year-old’s collection is a dark grey Lamborghini Aventador.

The 769hp super car can reach speeds of 218mph and go 0-60mph in 2.8 seconds and can set you back £800,000 if bought new.

A white Ferrari 599 GTB with a blue stripe through the middle also sits in the stunning collection.

The Italian motor is one of the cheaper cars in the steel-fabricators fleet – coming in at around £123,000 for a used one.

Tamplin also boasts a white Bentley Continental convertible, that costs the average buyer £176,000.

Two Bentley Bentaygas – which start from £163,000-a-piece – and a Mercedes GMC which can set you back £50,000, complete the jaw-dropping collection.

Tamplin was thrust into the spotlight during a whirl-wind spell as eccentric owner of the seventh tier Billericay Town FC.

He reportedly pumped “more than £2million” of his fortune into the club during his three years at the helm and brought in ex-Premier League stars Jamie O’Hara, Jermaine Pennant and Paul Konchesky.

The businessman also raised eyebrows by releasing a video of the squad singing along to R-Kelly’s hit ‘World’s Greatest’ and appointed himself as manager.

Tamplin eventually quit Billericay and spent 16 months in charge of eighth-tier Romford before resigning and reportedly moving abroad.
