During his travels, Biden is expected to use five-star Dromoland Castle in Co Clare as his base.
Senior sources have indicated that he will fly around the country in his Marine One helicopter from there.
The “magical address” has been welcoming guests since the 16th century and is the ancestral home of the O’Briens of Dromoland, whose lineage dates back 1,000 years to Brian Boru, one of the last High Kings of Ireland.
From the imposing baronial façade to its stunning interiors, guests are treated to an abundance of historic grandeur underpinned by the “finest modern comforts”.
With lavish decor, indulgent dining, fabulous views and magnificent bedrooms, Dromoland Castle is sure to pull out all the stops to make the president feel at home.
The hotel is home to a world-class golf course where Biden may have some time to catch up with old friends.

The premier suite is intimate and luxurious and has a glamorous, soothing duck egg and gold palette, which is carried through from the lavish sitting room to the spacious bedroom with its magnificent four-poster bed, chandeliers and separate dressing room.
The suite offers sweeping views over Dromoland Lough and across the estate.
Its impressive bathroom includes a double shower room and a freestanding slipper bath that’s just perfect for a soak before dinner.
PRICES
A one-night stay in the lavish Brian Boru suite costs around €3,100, while a standard suite costs around €2,300 per night.
The Viscount Stateroom, which has two double beds, is priced at around €2,000, while Staterooms cost approximately €1,400 per night.
The most affordable room available comes in at around €535 per night, while other rooms are available for €800.

Biden will also have a wide variety of choice when it comes to dining at the castle.

Scouring the countryside for the finest artisan producers and growers, his menus are a role call of Ireland’s very best ingredients.
Setting the standard for dining, David blends classical training with a flair for the contemporary, delivering excellent food.
The castle’s landmark restaurant, the Earl of Thomond, is home to fabulous food and silver service and will undoubtedly be visited by Biden.
