INJURED jockey Graham Lee has been moved from Newcastle to the James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough.
The Grand National and Group 1-winning jockey, whose family home is in Yorkshire, suffered a serious neck injury at Newcastle a fortnight ago.

He had been receiving treatment at Royal Victoria Infirmary Hospital and underwent an operation last week.
In the most recent update from the Injured Jockeys’ Fund, they said he was making “positive progress” and would be moved closer to home when a suitable bed became available.
However, he still faces a long rehabilitation process, despite being moved from intensive care, and he is still on a ventilator.
An update issued by the IJF read: “Graham Lee has now moved to the Spinal Unit at James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough where he will remain for the foreseeable future.
“He is no longer in ITU but remains on a ventilator, albeit this can be reduced from time to time.
“His cervical injury, which was to C3/C4, means that his movement is affected.
“His family are pleased that he is now nearer home and remain grateful for the constant support.”
The racing world was shocked by Lee’s horrendous injury, which he suffered after being unseated come out of the stalls on Ben Macdui on November 10.
His daughter, Amy, created a Just Giving page to raise money for he dad, and so far over £158,000 has been donated.
At Cheltenham last week, champion jockey AP McCoy was moved to tears when talking about his friend Lee, and he has been at the jockey’s bedside, even driving 18-year-old Amy to the hospital in the middle of the night.
