As part of a series of videos criticising different aspects of his electric vehicles, Joe revealed a major problem with his Tesla.
He said: “I really hate this. I just found a major issue with one of my Tesla’s.
“Ever since getting this Model S I haven’t been driving it. I’ve mostly been driving the Beater Jeep Grand Cherokee.
“Because I just really don’t like this model S.”
Joe claimed to have parked his vehicle with about 50 miles of range as battery energy remaining in the tank.
But the fuming driver was left shocked when he checked the vehicle after a few days.
On the video he explained how he left the vehicle without a charging plug for at least three days.
He said: “When I parked it, it had about 50 miles of range left, which is not a lot.
“But let me show you how much it has now. It has 19 miles of range left.”
The confused driver lost 31 miles of range from the electric battery in the EV after sitting in the same parking spot for only three days.
He added: “I kind of neglect it because I didn’t charge it for the past couple of days.
“But it shouldn’t be losing 30 miles of range in 3 days. That’s ten miles of range every single day.”
Joe slammed the car for for losing its battery without even using it and said to have never had an issue with other models from the same brand.
He claimed: “For reference my Model 3 doesn’t lose any charge even if I leave it for a week without charging.”
The video video has already gained more than 1,200 of likes and dozens of comments from other drivers.
Users took to the comment section to share their disapproval and tips on how to deal with electric batteries.
One user said: “You should have set the entry mode on or the cabin protection on. Both draw down the battery while sitting.”
Another added: “You got to have a second car if you own a Tesla.”
But drivers of gas cars hit back slamming the EV for losing charge even without moving.
One said: “Gas cars don’t lose their fuel.”
It comes as another Tesla owner revealed she hates her EV as a simple maintenance job is a nightmare and one feature could even be dangerous.
Lifestyle influencer Erin Robinson took to TikTok to share why owning the trendy electric car isn’t all she hoped it would be.
