I’m an MMA star in PFL Europe’s $100,000 season… winning it helps me throw down a mortgage for my sisters and family

MMA star Dylan Tuke has his eyes on the $100,000 PFL Europe prize – so he can lay down a mortgage for his family.

The Scottish-based Irishman is into the semi-finals of the three-stage tournament and faces Jakub Kaszuba next this Saturday in Paris.

Going all the way in PFL Europe not only bags him the $100k prize money but also qualifies him into next season’s $1m global season.

And Tuke already has a plan for how he would spend his potential winnings.

He told SunSport: “Winning $100,000 would be amazing.

“I will throw it down on a mortgage for me and the sisters and the family. We’ve got a whole family there.

“I suppose it would be amazing and take a little bit of extra stress off me for training.

“But I am a humble and poor D1 boy at heart and always will be.”

Tuke, 27, left Ireland for Scotland in a bid to better his career and currently represents the Higher Level MMA gym in Bathgate.

He said: “I moved to Scotland just for my coach James Dolan, he is one of the most decorated and high prolific coaches in the whole of Europe, if not the world.

“He’s trained multiple world  champions including Stevie Ray, Paul McVeigh, Luke Shanks and Danny Henry to name a few.

“He is basically the creator of champions from Scotland, so I moved over to be with him and the guys from higher level.

“I couldn’t have made a better decision. I wish had moved sooner.”

Standing in the way of Tuke and the winner-take-all finale fight on December 8 is Kaszuba.

But Tuke said: “I know he likes to wrestle; I know he is in for the roughest night of his life come Saturday, September 30th”.
