YOURI TIELEMANS vows to prove he has the bottle to be an Aston Villa star — even if he doesn’t like a beer!
The midfielder saw a pale ale named after him to celebrate his thunderous FA Cup final winner that left Chelsea with a major hangover at Wembley in 2021.

“Youri’s Thunderb*****d” is brewed by Leicestershire firm the Zero Six Brew Co.
But today’s Premier League rivals the Toon Army will argue they are top of the hops — with their beloved Newcastle Brown Ale.
Tielemans told SunSport: “I’ve never heard of Newcastle Brown and never tasted Youri’s Thunderb*****d. I don’t really like beer!”
The Villa new-boy, who arrived on a free last month after leaving relegated Leicester, has a bottle of his own branded booze at home but, despite the 26-year-old hailing from beer capital of the world Belgium, he has never opened it for a sup.
Thunderb*****d is described as “bursting with tropical mango aroma, citrus tones throughout and a pine finish.”
But that is not enough to tempt him.
Tielemans added: “I’ve never opened it and, no, I have never tasted a Newcastle Brown either.
“And I don’t think I ever will. My favourite drink of choice is water. I received a T-shirt, which has a photo of the beer label printed on the front, with a sample of the beer.

“I kept it as a souvenir — just for the memories.”
Villa fans are confident they will be toasting Tielemans on Tyneside tonight following their top-flight opener at St James’ Park.
After thumping Eddie Howe’s Magpies 3-0 at Villa Park in April, they will hope it’s deja-brew and that Tielemans can really raise the bar.
