WWE legend Glenn Jacobs has been endorsed by former US president Donald Trump at a political rally in Iowa.
Jacobs, who wrestled under the name Kane, has been the Mayor of Knox County in Tennessee since 2018.

The wrestling icon spoke at a rally for Trump in Indianola, Iowa, in an effort to secure the former president’s re-election this year.
Trump returned the favor by signing the praises of the WWE Hall of Famer.
“Another man who’s a friend of mine. I’m not going to mess around with — he’s Knox County, Tennessee. Do you know Glenn Jacobs? Goes by the name of Kane,” Trump said at the event on Sunday.
“Kane! Kane! Where is Kane? Look at the size of this guy, man oh man, he’s all man. He’s all man.”
Trump told the crowd that Jacobs had “done a fantastic job” as Mayor of Knox County.
“Kane, one of the great characters — how many [years did you do that?]” Trump added.
“How tall are you, 6’8”? And weigh what? 300-something? That’s not bad, I’m not that far away, either [laughs].
“All I know is there’s a little acting involved, but when I see these guys, some of them, like The Undertaker, like [Glenn Jacobs], and they’re walking around the ring lifting a 300-pound guy over his shoulders like this [raises his arms above his head], it may be acting – and then he throws them into the seats – it’s pretty great.”
Jacobs previously endorsed Trump in an article in Human Events.
“Our nation is at an inflection point,” he wrote.
“If we continue the path we are currently on, America — the greatest country the world has ever seen — will continue to decline and, ultimately, be relegated to the dustbin of history.
“Among the candidates running for President, only one can reverse that trajectory. That one is Donald Trump.”
The Republican Jacobs has been touted as the next Governor of Tennessee, with the next gubernatorial election coming in 2026.
Jacobs was slammed by WWE stars in 2022 after the Supreme Court overturned the landmark ruling Roe V Wade, eliminating nearly 50 years of constitutional protections for abortion.
He tweeted: “Roe v. Wade has been overturned!
“This clears the way for states like TN to pass stronger protections for the unborn, and is an answer to a prayer for so many. #RightToLife #Victory.”
WWE star Paige hit back with a brutally honest assessment of Jacobs’ controversial opinion.
The former WWE Divas Champion – real name Saraya-Jade Bevis said: “Glenn you were an idol of mine and I sung your praises to anyone I met.
“But this is the biggest piece of s**” take from you ever.
“Very disappointing that you think controlling women’s bodies and taking away our rights is a ‘victory’.”
