A FLIGHT attendant who works on private planes has revealed what her day is like – and why it’s not as glamorous as some people think.
A lot of people dream of flying on a private jet, especially when they’ve had to sit in an uncomfortable economy class cabin.

However, Tiktoker and cabin crew member Olivia Falls (@oliviakfalls) might have changed people’s minds.
In a video she showed the preparation she has to go through for a 7:15am chartered flight, which starts when she arrives at the hangar more than hour before with her father, the pilot, Mick Falls Jnr.
The flight attendant took her followers on a tour through the company’s lounge, hangar, and inside the luxurious wood and cream leather cabin of the private jet as they prepared for take off.
During this time, Olivia was seen walking around in the pouring rain, replacing water bottles and arranging food for the passengers, who had spent a small fortune chartering the aircraft.
She had to check the plane toilet to make sure everything was present and working.
The plane was due to carry four people to Sydney that morning, before being cleaned and reset for six people flying back to Melbourne later in the day.
In her video, Olivia explained that chartering the plane would cost between “$10,000 (£5,370) and $12,000 (£6,442) per hour” excluding additional costs for overnight stays and special catering requests.
On top of that, Olivia revealed that the flight had been a bumpy one due to some windy conditions.
At the end of her morning’s work, she received a tip of $100 (£53) from her travellers, despite their obvious wealth.
In several other TikToks, Olivia reveals a day working “on the ground” in which she spends a day sending emails about catering and reviewing health and safety training among other less exciting things.
Another video documents the hectic demands of a three day chartered trip to Brisbane, including a 4am wake-up to head home.
There is big money to be made as a private flight attendant, however.
Earlier this year, Netflix announced that they were hiring a flight attendant to work on their private jet in a role that pays more than £300k.
Based in San Jose, California, the lead flight attendant will work on the company’s midsize private jet and be paid up to $385,000 (£312,000).
The fortunate flight attendant, who snaps up the role, will need to be trained in cabin and passenger safety as well as aircraft emergency evacuation before they apply.
Meanwhile duties in the air include performing pre-flight cabin, galley and cockpit checks in addition to delivering safety and emergency procedure briefings.
The member of cabin crew will also need to ensure the aircraft cabin is secure ahead of taxi, takeoff and landing.
Meanwhile, these are the strangest celebrity requests made to a private plane flight attendant.
And this private flight attendant explained why it can be better to work on commercial airlines over private flights.
