A FLIGHT attendant has revealed the most essential item you should never travel without.
Danielle says her cabin crew job means she often stays in a hotel room around three times a week.

She said taking a portable lock wherever she goes makes her feel “safer” as it can attach to any door to keep it secured.
Danielle told her 440,000 followers on TikTok: “I literally will not travel without my portable lock.
“This gadget is perfect for if you’re a solo traveller or staying in a room that does not have a deadbolt.
“I stay in a hotel room roughly three and I cannot tell you the amount of times someone has tried to access my room, whether it be a cleaner or a random person.
“I just sleep so much better and feel much safer knowing I have this.”
Danielle also revealed she always makes sure she has an Apple AirTag in her luggage.
She added: “I place the AirTag inside my suitcase so I can keep track of my bags and help locate them during my travels.”
Danielle also recommended fliers get themselves a suitcase that “open from the top”.
She explained: “It’s a suitcase that opens from the top.
“I would always recommend getting a suitcase like this where it can zip open from the top compartment rather than having to unzip it halfway through and opening it out like a book.”
Finally, Danielle urged her followers to get themselves an international travel adapter.
Meanwhile, another flight attendant shared the essentials they can’t travel without.
One of the items is moisturiser, and another is sun cream.
The third item packed into her airport carry on are electrolyte tablets.
She said: “Electrolyte tables have added vitamins and make drinking water easier.”
The flight attendant also brings on board a personalised first aid kit that includes plasters, bandages and other medicines.
And in order to remain confident during her shift she also packs a toothbrush, toothpaste, mints and a comb.
