The car dealer, who flip buys from British Car Auctions, Copart and Private Sales, walked around his lot.
He then revealed a used Toyota Yaris T Sport in blue with a high mileage.
James said: “The Yaris. It’s a bust. I took it down to the Moores guys to see about getting it MOT‘d because we wanted to try and save a little example of a T sport.
“It drove so well even though it’s got a high mileage and it’s a bit beat up on the corners.
“We thought we’ll see what we can do with it. Took it down to the Moores guys.
“They said there was too much welding to get involved with and didn’t want to be doing that.
“You have to respect any business for saying what work they do and don’t want to do.”
“Unfortunately it’s a bust,” he added. “I’m losing money on it. I have done a deal with someone who is going to get it welded up.
“But I’m losing a little bit of money on that. Not a lot of money, but a little bit of money.
“It’s a shame because I really liked it and I would have liked to have saved it, but it’s just not possible.”
It comes after Ruaraidh Macleod revealed an “easy” way to double the price you can charge when cashing in on your motor.
Meanwhile Ray Shefska urged drivers to be wary of one unnecessary demand from salespeople.
