Writing for SlashGear, he said: “If you live in certain areas, there will be several months of the year when you can’t drive any distance without your car’s grille getting coated in a healthy layer of deceased insects.
“Smaller bugs usually end up as black speckles on the front of your vehicle, but larger insects may leave unsightly red patches or worse.
“Cleaning off this sheet of biomass may be tedious and difficult. This is especially true if your vehicle has a complex grille with many deep grooves or holes.”
Fortunately, he was able to offer up a cheap and easy solution to keep your car looking as good as new.
And all you need is a supermarket favourite that you probably already have in your laundry room.
Dryer sheets are a great tool for cleaning dirt, debris and dead bugs off your bodywork.
The sheets are loaded with “anti-static agents”, chemicals which reduce friction, that prevent stains from clinging to your car.
They are also made of adhesive fibres which give something for the dirt to cling onto, making them great for busting grime.
Just take a dryer sheet and scrub firmly and any bugs or other specs should clear up in no time.
Best of all, the miracle product is incredibly affordable, with a pack of 40 costing just £2.89 at Tesco.
That works out to roughly 7p per sheet.
It comes after a driving expert revealed seven key car parts you must check before the winter.
Meanwhile, motorists were given an urgent warning over something they should never do at a petrol station, even if it seems like it could save money.
