A SOUGHT-AFTER Ford Capri could be yours if you can afford the eye-watering price.
The car was made famous when another model featured in the hit TV series The Professionals and starred Lewis Collins and Martin Shaw as tough agents in anti-crime unit CI5.

The Capri, which was billed by Ford as “the car you always promised yourself,” was a huge hit with drivers, with 1.9million models being produced over 17 years.
The model currently for sale at auction is said to be in near mint-condition and was among the last produced in 1986.
Currently, the bid stands at £10,000 with only two days left for anyone interested to make an offer.
It’s a real performance car, boasting a powerful 2.8litre V6 injection engine, enough to produce 158bhp.
The slick coupe boasts some smart graphics, Recaro sports seats and a five-speed gearbox.
It’s first owner from Minehead, Somerset, bought it in 1987 before being sold to its second owner who drove it locally for many years and was serviced regularly by a local mechanic who was a family friend.
The current seller was gifted the car when the second owner, his wife’s grandmother stopped driving in 2020.
He has carried out some cosmetic work on the eye-catching car but pictures show it to be in pretty much pristine condition.
Despite the car’s age it has only done less than 60,000 miles in 36 years.
The sporty Capri is said to be “mechanically sound, with a valid MoT”.
It is up for auction with Car and Classic.
The TV series The Professionals was a big hit for ITV and first aired in 1977, going on to run for six years.
The best known car used in the series was the Ford Capri 3.0 S, mainly the Mark III model and one Mk II.
The character of Bodie drove a silver version in the shows produced between 1978 and 1981, while Doyle got behind the wheel of a gold model between 1980 and 1981.
Both cars went under the hammer last month.
