A WOMAN was told she had won the lottery with an incredible £54million jackpot – but it all came crashing down in seconds.
Ella Rothwell, from Bristol, shared a clip to TikTok when she experienced a “roller coaster” of emotions after thinking she’d won big.

The former singer turned fitness coach revealed her excitement after opening up an email from the lotto telling her she had won.
Ella jokingly told her nearly 25,000 followers that she’d immediately already started splashing the cash in her mind.
Thinking she’d bagged millions, the joy was extremely short-lived when she finally opened up the email and read it.
As she read line by line, Ella soon realised she’d only won £2.40 – and she wouldn’t even see it enter her bank account.
She said: “I woke up to an email from the lottery [and] it said ‘you have won’.
“So to tell you that I had spent £54million before I even open the app, only to find that I’d won £2.40 that had just been put back in as credit to my account.
“So I could just spend it on more lottery tickets. So what did I do? Bought two more weeks worth.
“Tell me why being an adult is such an emotional roller coaster every damn day.”
It comes after one woman recently thought she had the winning numbers on her tickets and believed she’d bagged £76million.
Aishwarya posted the heart-stopping moment to TikTok before quickly realising the “winning numbers” were in fact just the number of the day’s draw.
And one man told of his nightmare after proving he actually did win £3m – but had lost the ticket so couldn’t claim the prize.
