A DRIVER has uploaded a video to social media showing the shocking moment a cement mixer fell off an HGV.
The man was making his way along a fast A-road in Ireland when the incident happened.

The video was uploaded to TikTok by user @matthewduggan01, with the title: ‘Hold your friends close and family closer. Here today, gone tomorrow.

The video is shot using a car dash cam back in 2017 and starts with the Audi making its way down a fast A-road.
As it nears a righthand bend, an HGV can be seen coming the other way.
Just as the car and HGV pass each other, the cement mixer is seen tipping sideways off the HGV’s trailer.
The mixer clearly hasn’t been tied down properly and there’s no time for the Audi driver to react.
The mixer smashes into the Audi and all that can be seen afterwards is broken glass in front of the camera.
The video then cuts to a picture of the exterior of the Audi, which has been massively damaged by the incident.
There’s also an image of the yellow cement mixer, which looks fine aside from its wheels missing.
Thankfully the driver lived to tell the tale after this freak accident.
